2022 San Sebastian International Film Festival, Culinary Zinema
We are pleased to have invited Kanatin, a Japanese residing in Hong Kong, to share her experience of living in Lam Tsuen. How does she adjust her washoku menu throughout the seasons? The sharing will be conducted in Cantonese.
Kanatin
Originally from Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan, Kanatin has lived in Hong Kong for more than five years. On one occasion Kanatin passed by Lam Tsuen, and was attracted by the surrounding nature. Living in Lam Tsuen allowed Kanatin to discover local Hong Kong vegetables. She is now passionate about cooking developing Japanese cuisine with fresh ingredients delivered directly from the farm. She holds regular workshops to share her food and encourage Hong Kongers to buy Hong Kong vegetables.
