On 29 Nov (Sat), Midori will perform Mendelssohn’s exquisite Violin Concerto in E minor with Hong Kong Sinfonietta under the baton of Daniel Raiskin, Designated Chief Conductor and Artistic Director of the Janáček Philharmonic Orchestra. The programme also includes Tchaikovsky’s monumental Symphony No 6 and a young Shostakovich’s Scherzo.
Midori joined by pianist Ieva Jokubaviciute, Midori will present a sparkling recital of timeless classics by Beethoven, Schubert, Schumann, Clara Schumann and Poulenc on 27 Nov.
