Ramen Samurai's Segi Naoki helms this coming-of-age drama about a female college student majoring in science who struggles with love and sake brewing in Higashi Hiroshima's Saijo, one of Japan's top three sake brewery locales.
Features the late Osugi Ren, who starred in HANA-BI, Season of Infidelity and Outrage Coda.
Shiori (Kawaei Rina) studies at an agricultural university in Tokyo and aspires to be a sommelier, but against her wishes she goes to apprentice at a sake brewery in Saijo. Nonetheless, she gains a sense of satisfaction through the people she meets and brewing sake. Then, the venerable brewery's survival comes under threat.

Sake lovers, are you ready for an unprecedented sensory feast of Sake?
Presented by “Sake Promotion Association” and “Shu Gen Washuya” whom JFOODO specially invites to introduce Hiroshima’s Sake and lead the participants to taste three Hiroshima-produced sake of different styles. Each sake contains the local flavor and craftsmanship of Hiroshima, revealing the story behind each sake and allowing you to experience the unique charm of Hiroshima's brewing culture. The workshop will be conducted in Cantonese.
* Sake tasting session will be held at the event. Participants must be aged 18 or above. Valid ID card must be presented on the day of the event
