Yamagata is a large prefecture along the Sea of Japan coast in the Tohoku Region, the prefecture is known for its culture and nature beauty. Within the prefecture, there are artisans who create a wide variety of craftsmanship, especially the world-renowned cast iron teapots. Among these famous artisans, Monmaya is delighted to invite 22 artisans to exhibit their more than 100 collections at the Monmaya Flagship Store at Happy Valley and store on 9/F SOGO Causeway Bay. The handicraft showcase of its kind is the first attempt in Hong Kong.

The show pieces include popular iron pots, ceramics, cloth dyeing, wood-work products, etc., almost of all are unique collectibles. During the showcase, forum sessions will also be held on the theme of Japanese and Chinese tea for VIPs.
