Jacky Lau, Hong Kong top renowned guitar-artist, had a chance to perform in Japan few years ago and fallen in love with Japanese culture. He first met with Japanese Violinist Tanaka Tomoko in a collaboration for the Consulate-General of Japan in Hong Kong. Their duet performance received a lot of attention, with motivated the two musicians to team up for different projects and developed great friendship to now.

Tomoko and Jacky, enlightened by the slowly restarting cultural exchange around the globe, take this concert as an opportunity to encourage further communication between Japan and Hong Kong – hometowns of the two musicians. Besides classical violin-guitar duo pieces, they both composed new pieces with modern elements wishing to resonate their enthusiasm with participants and blessing to all.
