This exhibition will introduce the inheritance of intangible cultural heritage (ICH) in Japan through about 100 stunning exhibits, including ceramics, metalwork, lacquer work, woodcarvings and textiles from Japanese ICH practitioners. With the support from local craftspeople, the exhibition will also feature a selection of about 15 exhibits on painted porcelain, paper crafting and wood sculpture of Hong Kong. To enable visitors to appreciate the artworks in the exhibition, a series of weekend programmes comprising live demonstrations, talks and workshops will be held during the exhibition period.
